Burke Design has been retained by the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital Foundation to become the Owner's Project Manager on the Cottage Hospital Foundation's 115 unit Workforce Housing Project. The project consists of demolishing the old St Francis Hospital Campus consisting of approximately 189,000 sf of buildings and six acres of land and then constructing 115 new townhouse condominium units over subterranean parking structures containing parking for over 250 automobiles. 82 of the new units will be subsidized by Cottage and are reserved for Cottage Hospital employees and 33 of the units will be sold as market rate units.

Warkentin Residence Remodel and Addition - Santa Barbara

This custom home in the Hope Ranch area of Santa Barbara has received approval through the City of Santa Barbara’s Single Family Design Board.  Construction documents are now in progress.

Oak View Homes, Twenty Two Single Family Homes - Santa Barbara

As President of JM Construction, Mr. Burke provided preliminary and final construction budgets and schedules and oversaw the construction of these twenty two upscale, cottage style homes including all sitework, grading and slab-up construction. The project included undergrounding of major overhead utility lines and installation of 1500 LF of storm drain lines through existing neighborhoods.

As Construction Manager for this very upscale residential development Burke Construction Advisors is providing construction budgets, schedules and direct on site supervision of the work. The work included all grading and underground utility work and slab-up construction of 20 single family homes along with related common area improvements, cabana building and swimming pool.
